PPC Fall Harvest
In celebration of fall we’ve decided to host a food drive this October!
Feeding America is a food bank, located in Milwaukee and in the Appleton area, which works with a network of hunger relief partners to distribute more than 18.3 million meals a year to 377,000 people in eastern Wisconsin. After touring Feeding America’s warehouse and communicating directly with one of their reps, we decided there is no better organization than the Appleton Feeding America location to help us with our Fall Harvest.
PPC’s Fall Harvest will run from October 9th through October 25th. We will have food collection bins and a money donation box placed at our facility for the duration of our harvest. We have set a food goal of 1,000 lbs. and a fundraising goal of $500 for our company. In addition to the food drive, our employees will have to opportunity to volunteer at Feeding America’s facility. We will also be matching the dollar amount our employees raise during our harvest.
